Welcome to the Motorcycle page. This page is dedicated to sharing information on riding motorcycles in Alaska. Should you have any questions, or wish to contribute to this WIKI but don't know how, contact me via my blog: http://alaskabikers.blogspot.com/. I will be adding information on tours, stores, and clubs soon.
Motorcycle Riding in Alaska? Thought there was snow all the time? Edit
It's amazing the number of people from the Lower 48 that seem to have this misconception. Here in Fairbanks, we have approximately 5-6 months of riding time. Of course, if you're brave(or stupid, whichever), you can start riding sometimes as early as the middle of March. I have seen some bikers out on the road all winter long. Me, I prefer to wait until the ice is off the roads, which this year was the middle of April.

This is by no means a complete listing of all the ride events in Alaska. I've only listed a few. I will add more as I find them.
